PvP vs Raid as Subtlety

Alright, this one piece is about my personal thoughts about PvP’ing and Raiding as Subtlety spec, so if you were looking for a guide of sorts about pvp and said talent build, this isn’t it.

Ok, so I decided that, since I epically fail at PvP, yet three of the people in the guild have asked me to join their 2v2 Arena team, I’d give Subtlety build a spin, also, I was very interested in seeing how Cheat Death works now (not that I had tried it pre-”nerf”, mind you). So I went and blew 20 gold to reset my talents, got my daggers out of my bank, and went off to Warsong Gulch.

After a short time of running around and whacking hordies here and there. It was interesting to see how my own style of playing changed so much compared to when I was combat and I was surprised to see how well I actually adjusted to the difference between builds.

Anyway, I’ll put a break here and go on full out after the break.

More about Death Knights By Meara

I know a lot of people really don’t want to hear any more about death knights. I, however, can’t stop thinking about them. Every tid-bit of info that has been released just makes me want one more. Not necessarily due to all the obvious things people like about Death Knights appeal to me alone, like damage and tanking abilities. Every thing about death knights makes me dream about them. Lore, combat abilities, versatility, viability in raids, look, customization. Every thing! I know I probably sound like every one else out there noobin’ out over Death Knights. So I think I’m going to make this post about Death Knights in general, and then I promise, I won’t post any more about them for a while . Okay well, at least I’ll try not to…

Come on! Who doesn’t wanna look like some one who has come to kick some *** first and then take names later. Cast Iron Plate looking armor, in my idea is just cooler than cool.

I mean, from what we have seen so far with their, armor they look a lot better to me than most of the sets out there. Even though I’ll admit it, I always have my helm on hide. Since I’m the person who sits and stares at Toon Creation screen for hours just to get the face right!. Besides, thats probaly the one thing that doesn’t look good on the images i have seen so far of death Knights. The Helms = horrible, well at least on female toons. I think human’s look best with plate helms on, but on the other hand, Tauren.. Just no… No helm looks good on them from my point of view. Enough about helms! That’ll be for another post later maybe.

So from Big Glowing swords to big shoulders with skulls on them. Over all I think the Armor for death knight is cool. Even thought with the “generalization” of gear in WOTLK I think every one will look alike a lot. I hope it’s only for caster gear .

Of PvP and Pit Lords

Been a while, and while I’m still excited about all the WWI news, I think I am fully recovered and 100% looking forward to it. In the meantime, I’ve done some gearing up on two of my characters.

First we have the main, the rogue. Akhellar has been tearing up horde…ok, might have happened the other way around, as I still can’t quite PvP in raid spec and am too cheap to go respec. However, I didn’t do that bad, and there was a huge improvement in my PvP performance from my last attempt. Also did some PvP from the other side of it, Ryal went to get some honor, and honor he got.

After 27,000 honor and 40 painful Eye of the Storms marks, Akhellar got his Merciless Gladiator’s Slicer and Merciless Gladiator’s Quickblade. Once I got those two, I went to grind some honor on my paladin, Ryal, and after what felt like endless torture, I finally managed to get the Merciless Gladiator’s Gavel and Shoulderpads. After that, I’m thinking I’ll take the rest of the week off PvP, at least until the weekend. Also, Meara’s palading just dinged 60 (gratz) and we’re hoping to get busy in outlands instances soon.

Whoas we got Twisteded!

Just a quick entry for now, while I work on typing the other bigger one. I was checking the statistics on the dashboard and I saw the url of one of the referers was none other than the Twisted Nether Wiki!.

Quoting Breana of Gun Lovin’ Dwarf Chick, the Twisted Nether Wiki is “like Wikipedia but just for WoW sites”, and it so happens that our sort-of-new-born-baby-blog is listed in the…uh…Blog List of said Wiki site. Pardon the redundances. Click here for a link to her post introducing the wiki.

This came to us as a big surprise given the fact neither Meara or I submitted Endless Gaming to the list, so, aparently, someone DOES actually read us and acknowledged our existence. To that person(s), thanks!. Now…this means we gotta post more…heh <.<;;

With that, I leave for a few hours while I do the lunch thing and other stuff.

Raiding and Priest Stuff

With the currnet rush to get my Holy Paladin to 70… I have been lacking a bit, and I do apologize for the lack of posting.

With raiding moved back I find my self with a lot more time. We are currently working on LootReaver in TK. We have All Tier 4 content on farm. Mag one shotted on the 2nd take down… Grate progress done by TTC. I have to say Void Reaver is a REALLY fun Boss. I was the Last healer alive on our 2nd attempt. Kept two tanks and my self alive until 63% XD. I normally disagree with stuff like that but once in a while I like to push my self over the edge and see exactly what I can do. I have to say.. It is much easier to not to have a assigned spot and be able to run about as I see fit. It was kinda funny seeing Ball after Ball Chasing me down until one got thrown to where I was going that ended up killing me. Even though it seems I’m going to craft me some arcane resist stuff. I have All the Arcanoweave stuff and all but the Soulcloth shoulders. So might as well get a bit just for kicks… the Balls were hitting me for roughly 3k when I didn’t move and 1k if I was just a little too close.

I also talked to all my priests since I’m priest class leader again. It’s kinda sad the responce i got from one of them. I am far from calling any one a bad healer, I just can’t see how people take “Stop useing all +Healing Gems only.. throw some spirit and MP5 or Intel in there with them” would count as “YOU SUCK!”. But My comment this week for priests is “Mana regen IS VARY important.” Can’t be stressed enough. You have Low Armor and Low Health. All you can do to help is a big mana pool. The other Holy Preist, is just too cute to ever be mad at :3.

Thats Really All i have to post for now. I’ll come up with a topic. I think I have some in the works. Just gotta sort them out. Since we all know I am a horrible speller. Hence “Bocket” ….
