Okay, as you can see.. I’ve been rather bored. I went back and got Exalted with all the Ally factions. Which I should have been doing my Son of Hodir and Ebon Blade dailies. It sounds rather weird but I’d rather do that kinda stuff then Dailies. For some odd reason I’m not quite comfortable in Northrend yet. There’s some part of me that is still attracted to old world content. Maybe since I didn’t expense as much as I was hoping to. Ever since I “dailied” (woot! Made up suffix combos FTW!) my 5,000 gold for Meara‘s epic flier. I have been procrastinating on dailies. I find them so redundant and every one in the right mind these days are doing them. So they are vary crowded. Even though the Mobs re-spawn faster. They tend to re-spawn on me when I freeze my Steel, I end up having to farm more Frost Essence.
With the Clutter in the dailies area. The only way to really get them done, is to do them early in the morning. To be honest… I’d rather nap… (shh Ak). I just got to friendly with Sons to get my shoulder Glyphs since Vel didn’t have the Aldor exalted glyph. I will probably grind to exalted when I get my Valorous Shoulders, but considering the way we handle our loot in my guild; It will be a while before I will get it. So I have plenty of time.
Now! Back to the Ambassador of the Alliance/Horde. If you are wondering how I did it. It is rather simple and can take you two weeks, maybe 3. First off, World Events. Right now it’s the Lunar Festival. If your not doing it for the Pants Suits like I did. You can do it while getting a few other achievements along the way. Like the Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms Exploration, along with most of the Classic Instances. You can also level your Professions that you forgot to or you wanted to pick up but never did, like my self. I went back and worked on my Fishing, Cooking, and Mining while I was out there doing those. It is 75 rep for all 5 factions each time you just talk to an Elder. So that is roughly 5,625 rep to each faction to a total of 28,125 rep accost the board. That’s less Rune-cloth and Low level quests you have to do.
Last tip. Once you got most of the easy Elders. Don’t start turning in Rune-cloth yet! What you do is, go back to the old starting areas and start blasting through the quests. This is pretty mundane but it will take you like an hour to get an area complete. There is a catch to this though. Places like Durotar, Elwyn Forest, etc. Level 1-12 areas will only give you rep with that faction. Any where above that like for example, Westfall and Barrens will give you a thing called “Roll Over Rep“. So after you are exalted with Stormwind, stop your questing in Elwyn Forest and head to Westfall and Redridge to get roll over rep with the other factions. It may not be a lot but 5 or so quests at 86 roll over reputation will give you a Bubble in revered. While your are doing this you are working on another Achievement The Lore master for Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. There are a lot more achievements along the way like Pest Control, and To All The Squirrels I’ve Loved Before.
After you have finished all those quests you then then start turning in your rune-cloth. I would, how ever, save that for a some gold off the auction house. It takes 60 to get a small amount of rep from the cloth quartermasters. So in the end questing in low levels seems to be much faster method. I think I will go in to more depth later if you guys want to know more.
On another note, like I said before I’m working on leveling my mining. While I have been at the annoying running around one area in a circle bit. I have managed to make a decent amount of gold off of the ore I have been collecting along the way. Originally I was collecting the low level Ore for my alliance paladin, Arilla. To level her blacksmithing, but I would have to gather some 500 Iron Ore to smelt in to Iron Bars and Steel. It ended up taking much more time then I was willing to put in to the endeavor. I fed up with it all together and headed straight for the ore to sell on the Auction House. I made so far roughly 1,500 gold just from the ore alone. The Mithril sells on Sen’jin right now for a bout 37 gold a stack and Throium for about 47 gold. It seems to be vary worth it. Now that I have Finlay moved on to Fel Iron; I’m waiting to see how much people are willing to put out for that stuff. I think, how ever, I will keep the motes for Arilla’s blacksmithing when I return for her. I’m not exactly sure if I can both sell them or by pass them when leveling BS, with the Cobalt Craft-ables. Besides Vel will need all the Saronite and Cobalt Ore for prospecting for her Jewelcrafting and for the Daile quests to get some of that Dragon’s Eye stuff *Dolls over them*.
Fishing how ever, at low levels meaning BEFORE Wrath content, doesn’t seem to sell at all on the auction house. I, how ever, have herd many stories about how most any thing fishing in the 70-80 areas are selling for mass amounts of gold on the AH. With this in mind, I will save money on my Mega Mamoth Meals and Contribute a bit on the Feasts for raiding. (*Looks at the small feast* Hmm Pocket Shaman!) Besides the Salty title I find rather amusing. “Salty Velun”…no?…okay well I do!
